Since it is my first day on deviantART I feel compelled to write an entry. It is about time I got one. Been busy though. This is actually my only day off for seven days. I do enjoy my job,(I'm a stock-girl at Target), it just wears me down after seven days in a row.
Little thing to know about me: I'm not actually an artist myself.
I know. Shun the non-artist. SHUN!!! But please don't. I do LOVE art. I just don't have a talent for it myself and I know this. I can barely draw a paper bag much less my way out of one. But I do love art. Van Gough is my favorite artist and Starry Night is my favorite painting. Not that it in anyway makes me an expert but I have studied art history and I loved it. I also appreciate the work that goes into making the pieces. I am just here to comment to give credit where credit is due. I won't flair anyone. If I don't think its good then its not worth taking the time to type about, but the ones that ARE good I feel like the artists need that happy, positive feedback for their usually pretty low self-esteems. I know this because I have artist friends and they never think their work is good and that is utter balderdash.
I'd like to end this entry with a happy dance for pretty art. *happy dance* Yay for pretty pictures!!
